Here at ceilingfanparts.net, we sell replacement ceiling fan parts for most brands: Hunter, Hampton Bay, Harbor Breeze, Casablanca, Emerson and many others. Some of the parts that we sell would be the blade arm, remote control, remote control receiver, P.C. Board, wall switch, pull chain switch, reversing switch, hanger bracket, capacitor, flywheel, light bulbs, switch housing covers, reversing module, light limiter and many other ceiling fan parts.

Ceiling fan blade arms come in different sizes. They are sold as a set of  4, 5 or 6.

Most ceiling fan remote controls will have buttons for 5, 6, or 7 functions. Some will have just buttons and some will have a LCD screen. Fan remote controls come from the factory with a specific frequency setting. The remote  can have 4 or 5 dip switches in the battery compartment. These are used to marry a specific remote with a specific fan receiver.

The wall switch used on a ceiling fan can control voltage to the fan through the fan supply wires or send radio wave signals through the air. The one using radio wave signals is identical, in basic operation, to the hand held remote control. Some will be battery operated, but most will be powered by the AC voltage which powers the ceiling fan.

The ceiling fan capacitor is used to start the motor or control the speeds of the motor or both.

The PC boards for ceiling fans will combine the many electronic components that make a ceiling fan operate.

A ceiling fan receiver module takes signals from the ceiling fan remote control.

The ceiling fan hanger bracket is mounted between the ceiling fan body and the electrical box on the ceiling.

The light limiter is used on ceiling fans to control the maximum wattage that is allowed to the light kit.

The pull chain switch for a ceiling fan light will have 2 or 3 wires. The switch for the ceiling fan motor will have 3 or more wires.

These are some examples of ceiling fan light bulbs.

The ceiling fan ballast is used to control the fluorescent  bulb in a light kit.

A ceiling fan reversing module controls the direction of the fan blades. It is only used on fans that are operated by a remote control.

The reversing switch used on ceiling fans will allow the air to blow up or down.

A switch housing cap is used to cover the wires and components when the ceiling fan is used without a light kit.

The ceiling fan flywheel is used as a blade carrier. The blade arms are mounted to this flywheel. Most ceiling fans that are made today use "inside out" motors, which do not use a flywheel.
